In partnership with Google Maps Platform, we worked to develop some demo concepts for their latest interactive feature. Google Enduro allows users to build immersive experiences and interactive games using real world landscapes and maps. We worked with a small team to design the storyboard of four different game sequences that illustrate the various game-building features available to users. Using our knowledge of UI design, we incorporated intricately designed HUD elements and gameplay graphics that were unique to each style. After each game was built in 3D, we then implemented the UI elements and animated the camera movements within the environments. These demo concepts were released at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2019.
